The Love Of Another ~

» NOTE: Since this ritual is designed for love that is both of an emotional and physical nature, it is a good idea to use herbs associated with love and passion.

You will need the following materials:

1. a red flannel or chamois bag

2. a personal item from both parties the gris-gris is to inspire love between

3. a symbol such as a heart made from red wax to which you- can attach the personal items belonging to both people involved

4. I tsp. cubeb berries

5. I small piece of orris root

6. I tsp. spikenard herb

7. I tsp. cloves

8. I tsp. damiana

9. I tsp. juniper berries

Items two through nine will be put into the gris-gris bag. Once again we will be using nine different items for this ritual. Besides your regular altar equipment, you will need the fol- lowing:

10. I white candle

11. I red candle

12. I green candle

13. I bottle of Love Oil or Seduction Oil

14. Enticing Love Incense

15. I bottle of Blessing Oil

Dress the red candle with Love Oil or Seduction Oil.

1. Light the white candle and affirm:

Here do I light the candle symbolizing

the endless faith and sincerity which

___(name)___ has in mind, body

and soul; an evergrowing faith which

will help him/her win the loue of ___(name)___.

2. Light the red candle as you give the affirmation:

Here is the fire of love,

drawing these two together.

Instilling loue in these hearts this hour,

daily this charm grows in power.

3. Light the green candle affirming the following:

Venus, shine your light this way,

plant the seeds of loue this day.

Within the hearts of these two,

aid me in this work I do.

4. Fill the bag with your ingredients as you chant:

Cubet) berries, orris root, spikenard too,

create a bond between this pair; a loue that is true blue.

Cloue, damiana, Juniper berries,

excite, entice and titillate,

this loue soon to be fate.

Continue with the chant as you Fill the gris-gris bag,

and sew up or tie the top so that the ingredients of

the gris-gris will not spill out.

5. Anoint the gris-gris bag with either Love Oil or Seduction Oil.

Lay the gris-gris bag in the center of the triangle, and

place both hands palms down over the bag as you chant:

Gris-gris working for me,

creating loue energy. Bringing these two hearts as one,

this growing loue has now begun.

Entice, excite and titillate,

a burning loue soon to be fate.

Fulfilling the desire within,

as this loue affair begins.

Keep up the chanting three, Five, seven or nine times until

you feel the charm is imbued with sufFicient power.

6. Consecrate the bag in the following manner: sprinkle

both sides of the gris-gris bag with Holy Water

as you afFirm:

With water do I consecrate this gris-gris,

an instrument inspiring loue.

Sprinkle both sides of the gris-gris bag with earth as you afFirm:

With earth do I consecrate this charm,

an instrument inspiring loue.

Pass both sides of the gris-gris bag through the

flames of the white candle, the red candle and the

green candle as you give the affirmation:

With fire do I consecrate this gris- gris,

an instrument inspiring loue.

Pass both sides of the gris-gris bag through the

incense smoke as you afFirm:

With air do I consecrate this charm,

an instrument inspiring loue.

7. Place the gris-gris bag back in the center of the triangle.

Allow the candles to burn for the remainder of the hour.
